본 방침은 크롬 확장 프로그램 <영작만 유튜브 쉐도잉>에만 적용됩니다. 영작만 앱·웹 서비스 전반은 영작만 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.
유튜브 시청 페이지에서 해당 영상이 이미 제공하는 자막을 문장 단위로 재구성해, 구간 반복·따라 말하기·영어 가리기·단어 뜻 확인을 돕고, 이용자가 직접 선택한 문장만 영작만 계정에 복습용으로 저장하는 학습 도구입니다.
계정 연동 토큰 — 이용자가 웹에서 발급받은 1회용 코드를 입력하면 발급되는
장수명 토큰입니다. 브라우저의 chrome.storage.local에만 저장되며,
이용자를 식별하기 위한 목적으로만 사용합니다.
이용자가 저장을 선택한 자막 문장 — 저장 버튼을 누른 문장의 영어 원문, 한국어 번역, 영상 ID·제목·채널명·해당 문장의 시작 시각을 서버에 전송해 계정에 보관합니다. 영상의 전체 자막은 수집·저장하지 않으며, 영상당 저장 가능한 문장 수는 전체 문장의 20%(최대 40문장)로 제한되고 연속된 3문장은 저장할 수 없습니다.
이용자가 탭한 단어 — 뜻을 확인하기 위해 탭한 단어와 그 문장을 서버로 전송해 뜻을 받아옵니다. 결과는 브라우저에 캐시되며 서버에 이용자별로 보관하지 않습니다.
화면 설정 — 몰입 모드 on/off 등 UI 설정을 브라우저에만 저장합니다.
방문 기록·검색 기록·시청 기록, 유튜브 계정 정보, 쿠키, 마이크 오디오, 위치,
결제 정보, 유튜브 외 다른 웹사이트의 어떤 내용도 수집하지 않습니다. 확장 프로그램은
https://www.youtube.com 에서만 동작합니다.
수집한 정보는 오직 위 학습 기능(계정 연동, 저장 한도 확인, 단어 뜻 제공, 문장 저장)을 제공하기 위해서만 사용합니다. 광고·프로파일링·이용자 행동 분석에 사용하지 않으며, 이용자 데이터를 판매하거나 제3자에게 양도하지 않습니다.
모든 통신은 HTTPS로 자사 서버(yeongjakman-proxy.fly.dev)와만
이루어집니다. 저장·인증을 위해 Supabase, 호스팅을 위해 Fly.io, 단어 뜻 생성을 위해
Anthropic에 처리를 위탁합니다.
저장한 문장은 영작만 앱 또는 웹에서 개별 삭제할 수 있고, 회원 탈퇴 시 지체 없이 파기됩니다. 확장 프로그램의 연동을 해제하거나 확장을 삭제하면 브라우저에 저장된 토큰과 캐시는 즉시 제거됩니다. 자세한 삭제 방법은 계정 및 데이터 삭제를 참고하세요.
This policy applies only to the Chrome extension "영작만 유튜브 쉐도잉" (Yeongjakman YouTube Shadowing).
The extension is a language-learning tool. On YouTube watch pages it re-aligns the captions the page already provides into sentence units so the user can loop a sentence, practice speaking it, hide or reveal the English text, look up a word, and save individually selected sentences to their Yeongjakman account for later review.
Account link token. Issued after the user enters a one-time code obtained
while signed in on our website. Stored only in chrome.storage.local and
used solely to identify the user's account.
Sentences the user explicitly saves. When the user taps save, we send the English sentence, its Korean translation, and the video ID, title, channel name and sentence start time to our server. We never collect or store the full caption track. Saving is capped at 20% of a video's sentences (max 40) and three consecutive sentences cannot be saved.
Words the user taps. The tapped word and its sentence are sent to our server to return a definition. Results are cached in the browser and are not retained per user on the server.
Display preference. UI settings such as immersive mode on/off, stored only in the browser.
We do not collect browsing history, search history, watch history, YouTube account
information, cookies, microphone audio, location, payment information, or content from
any website other than YouTube. The extension runs only on
https://www.youtube.com.
Collected information is used exclusively to provide the features above (account linking, save-quota checks, word definitions, sentence saving). It is not used for advertising, profiling, or behavioral analytics, and it is never sold or transferred to third parties for any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
All traffic is sent over HTTPS to our own server
(yeongjakman-proxy.fly.dev). We use Supabase for storage and
authentication, Fly.io for hosting, and Anthropic for generating word definitions.
Saved sentences can be deleted individually in the Yeongjakman app or web portal and are destroyed without delay when the account is deleted. Unlinking or removing the extension immediately clears the token and cache stored in the browser.
